Collaborative Law
Recently a Collaborative Family Law group has been formed in the Sudbury area which offers a collaborative approach to family disputes as an alternative to the court process. If the collaborative approach is desired by the client, the lawyers for each party and both spouses must sign an agreement not to litigate. The collaborative approach invites the active participation of the client and meetings are structured to help facilitate the settlement of issues between the parties. I am a member of the Sudbury Collaborative Family Law Group and encourage my family law clients to adopt this approach.
With 23 years of experience, I offer my clients a compassionate and practical approach to conflict resolution that is respectful and holistic. I also provide services in both the French and English languages throughout the Province of Ontario. I have a special interest in Aboriginal conflict resolution processes and developing methods that are more culturally appropriate.
